I am a NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) certified to consult clients on proper food intake, weight management strategies and to recommend macro and micronutrient intake.  

In this program, I will assess your goals--Fat loss, Muscle Building, etc.--and customize a macro plan for you, based upon your client survey, utilizing the "flexible dieting" approach.  I will teach you about the approach and how to "count your macros." (Macros are macronutrients: carbs, fat and protein.)

I will help you create a MyFitnessPal diary, monitor your logging and give you recommendations based on your recorded intake, adherence to your prescribed macros and weekly check-ins.  You will check in with me once a week via email to update me on your results, improvements, struggles and questions.  You will send progress pictures every two weeks and I will adjust your macros according to your goals and progress.  

With this service, I will provide you sample meal plans each week that fit your prescribed macros.  This is a unique and accommodating service where you are encouraged to provide me input during your check ins as to what foods, recipes, restaurant meals, etc you'd like to see on that weeks sample plan.   I can personalize the sample plan in any way and tailor it to specified dietary restrictions or preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, etc).  This is the most convenient service I offer because it takes the guess work out for you, should you choose to adhere to the sample meal plan partially or exclusively.  I ensure each weeks plan changes up food variety and meets basic nutritional benchmarks.  

This can be a great plan to start with to get some in depth professional guidance on planning meals to "fit your macros" and optimize your nutrition while leaving room for fun recipes and occasional indulgences.  Once you feel comfortable planning your own meals, it is ideal to switch to the basic macro coaching unless the meal planning service is something you find helpful long-term.
